Una de mis vistas preferidas de la ciudad de Los Angeles es la que consigues desde el Observatorio Griffith, a la derecha los barrios de Beverly Hills y West Hollywood y de frente Downtown, siempre que estoy por allí intento subir a ver el atardecer o a pasar un rato y termino cenando en el barrio de Los Feliz del que os hablé el año pasado en esta entrada y es donde están los mejores puestos callejeros de tacos mexicanos. De camino al observatorio siempre cogemos uno para comérnoslo en el coche y una rica limonada recién hecha.

En nuestra última visita coincidimos con excursiones escolares que nos hicieron pasar un buen rato mientras hacíamos las fotos y posaban en el fondo partidos de risa. Me encantan los autobuses amarillos, si pudiera me volvería en uno :P. En cuanto al look, llevo un vestido largo de Urban Outfitters con detalles bordados y espalda descubierta, alpargatas rosas, mochila de paja y accesorios vintage que voy encontrando en los mercadillos de la costa oeste.

One of my favorite views of the city of Los Angeles is what you get from the Griffith Observatory, right side neighborhoods of Beverly Hills and West Hollywood and upright the Downtown, whenever I’m there I try to climb to watch the sunset or spend a time and ended up having dinner at Los Feliz neighborhood of which I spoke last year at this post and is where are the best Mexican truck foods. On the way to the observatory we pick one for eating in the car and a rich fresh squeezed lemonade.

On our last visit we met some school bus excursion and had a good time while doing photos. I love the yellow buses, if I could I would one to my city :P. About the look, I wear a midi dress with embroidered details and backless, pink sandals, straw bag and vintage accessories that I found in flea markets of the west coast.

Mientras esperábamos por unas amigas para ir a comer nos topamos con un callejón con parking típico de las casas de Los Angeles y nos pusimos a hacer fotos sin parar, era una buena forma de matar el tiempo. El lugar no destacaba por ser muy bonito pero la luz que tenía a esas horas era preciosa.

El vestido que llevo es de Jens Pirate Booty, una marca boho que me encanta pero que siempre me resulta cara, lo compré hace bastante tiempo en unas rebajas al 70% de descuento con la idea de llevármelo a Tailandia y usarlo para fin de año, también se vino conmigo a Cuba y a Miami pero por unas razones u otras al final siempre se quedaba muerto de risa en la maleta, a la cual ya empiezo a tratar como si fuera mi armario físico, tengo el mismo caos en ambos. Al final este día me apeteció estrenarlo en un look casual con sandalias planas, es precioso y perfecto para un día en la ciudad en el que quieres ir mona pero tampoco demasiado llamativa. Ahora no sé cómo no lo estrené antes, ya tengo ganas de volver a llevarlo con botines bajos, zapatillas o sandalias negras de tacón. Espero que os guste tanto como a mi.

While we waited for some friends for lunch we came across a parking alley, the typical house backyard of Los Angeles and we got to take pictures without stopping, it was a good way to kill time. The place was not so cool but the light was amazing.

I’m wearing a Jens Pirate Booty dress, boho style that mix perfectly in casual mood. I usually think about the brand that it’s always expensive, I bought some time ago in a sale at 70% off with the idea to take him to Thailand and wear it in New Year Eve, also he came with me to Cuba and Miami but for some reason always was dying of laughter in the suitcase, which look like my regular closet, I have the same chaos in both. Finally this day I wore it in a casual look with flat sandals and suede jacket. It’s beautiful and perfect for a day in the city where you want to go cute but not too flashy. Now I don’t know how could wait so much, I wanted to wear again and again with low boots, sneakers or black high-heeled sandals. Hope you like it as much as me.
