Today’s post is full of pics because in Utah every corner is special. There are National Parks everywhere, roads surrounded by giant rocks with breathtaking views, canyons, natural bridges, old towns … really has endless magical places that you like discover. We quickly realized that we had to choose which ones we wanted to visit during this trip. So after spending a wonderful day in Monument Valley we continue our route through Utah visiting Bluff Fort, Gooseneck Canyon, Glen Canyon and Natural Bridges that you can discover through the pictures that I show you below.

This day was when we thought it was impossible to continue our journey without wearing a mini fridge in the car, too many miles without refueling, shops or restaurants, so we stopped at the nearest mall and we bought one for $15, so cheap!, and fill it with water, sodas and food to make us sandwiches. It was one of the best things we could do and I recommend that if you do this route purchase one, worth it!

It was so hot and the day was so intense that during the trip I was changing the Converse for beaded sandals and a hat for a ponytail, but the dress always the same … this one off the shoulders in my favorite color, red. I hope you enjoy the pictures !! A huge kiss and happy Tuesday.

Monument Valley

Monument_Valley-Utah-Collage_Vintage-USA_Road_Trip-113

After leaving Painted Desert go to Utah, the state where we wanted to spend most of the time as it’s full of natural parks and wonders of nature that were looking forward to discover. Our first stop was Monument Valley, the Navajo Indians certainly all recognize that is one of the most famous scenes of the American western movies and especially those directed by John Ford and starring John Wayne. Granted it was not a big fan of these films but my grandfather was passionate about and made that eventually catch a special affection for viewing with him in his living room… so imagine the illusion that made me go to this valley inside out for a day, it appeared to be in one of those movies was amazing, of course, we passed the point where Forrest Gump stopped running, at Mile 13 US Highway 163. Hope you like it!
