It’s always a pleasure to go to Palm Springs with or without a music festival. Now that we live in Los Angeles this small city has become one of our favorite getaways when we want to disconnect a bit from the daily routine of the big city, it’s only two hours by car from our house and that’s a pretty shot road hehe. Last month we went a couple of times, first with our friend Margaux and then for Coachella and Revolve Festival, so we heading a few days before to enjoy Palm Springs and relax before the festival madness.

This time we rented a house, we also like to stay in hotels in the area, I will recommend you some in another post, but this time we wanted to be with Jules and Kevin, have more space, an entire pool for us and above all tranquility away from the bustle of hotels during Coachella. Before settling in the house we decided to stop at the windmills, a mythical area of ​​Palm Springs, I know everyone is taking pics there now but the landscape is so incredible that it’s difficult to resist to even take a couple of quick photos , And then we decided to do groceries to make the purchase of the week and don’t have anything else to worry about.

Siempre es un placer ir a Palm Springs con o sin festival de música de por medio. Ahora que vivimos en Los Angeles esta pequeña ciudad se ha convertido en uno de nuestros destinos favoritos cuando queremos desconectar un poco de la rutina diaria de la gran ciudad, está a tan solo dos horas en coche de nuestra casa y eso en América no es nada jeje. El pasado mes fuimos un par de veces, primero con nuestra amiga Margoux y luego con motivo  de Coachella, el festival dura solo 3 días pero nosotros decimos ir unos días antes para disfrutar un poco de Palm Springs antes de empezar la locura.

Esta vez alquilamos una casa, nos gusta también alojarnos en hoteles de la zona os recomendaré algunos en otra entrada, pero esta vez queríamos estar con Jules y Kevin, tener más espacio, una piscina enterita para nosotros y sobretodo tranquilidad alejados del bullicio de los hoteles durante Coachella que están a reventar. Antes de acomodarnos en la casa decidimos parar en los molinos de viento, una zona mítica de Palm Springs, se qué cada vez está más visto hacerse fotos ahí pero el paisaje es tan increíble que es difícil resistirse a hacer aunque sea un par de fotos rápidas,  y después decidimos ir al supermercado para hacer la compra de la semana y así ya despreocuparnos de todo.

Llevo vestido anaranjado combinado con cazadora vintage de Levi’s, botines efecto piel de serpiente, sombrero camel y bolso blanco roto, ¿os gusta?

¡¡Buenos días chic@s!! Tengo un montón de fotos de este último mes que compartir con vosotras y aún no se como voy a organizarlas todas para poder publicarlas lo antes posible y que sigan una línea temporal… creo que no lo voy a conseguir así que no os asustéis si hay mucha mezcla de las diferentes semanas de la moda, simplemente es que soy un poco caos y siempre hay unas que me apetece compartir antes que otras :P.

De momento empiezo con estas de París, la semana de la moda que más disfruté a pesar del cansancio acumulado que tenía por ir saltando de una ciudad a otra. Me alegré de la lluvia con la que nos recibió la ciudad y que nos acompañó durante la mayoría de los días que estuvimos allí porque ¡no hay mal que por bien no venga!. Por un lado no pudimos hacer tantas fotos de street style como nos hubiera gustado pero a la vez teníamos más tiempo libre para nosotros lo que nos ponía una sonrisa en la cara de oreja a oreja. Eso sí, no os mentiré y os diré que Diego hizo mucho más que yo, fue a más desfiles a intentar sacar fotos, se mojó de arriba a abajo varios días seguidos por intentar capturar los looks que más le gustaban y, aunque yo me encargaba de editarlos por las noches su trabajo fue mucho más duro que el mío así que se merece un buen aplauso jeje. Yo decidí pasar la mayor parte del día con mi amiga Jules que también estaba la ciudad, ir a comer a restaurantes que nos gustan, de compras y sobre todo ponernos al día de nuestras vidas, Diego también venía con nosotras la mayor parte del tiempo aunque sobretodo se dejaba ver en las comidas jeje.

También fue una de mis semanas favoritas porque desconecté un poco del mundillo de las semanas de la moda, me encanta hacer fotos de street style con Diego y pasar tiempo con mis amigos Aldo, José, Carola, Itziar… ver lookazos e inspirarme, pero a veces me sobre satura el postureo, las presentaciones repetidas de gente que hace que no te conoce cuando te conoció la noche anterior y los looks imposibles para llamar la atención, para pasar a vivir París tranquilamente, sin estrés, con una amiga con la que reirme, haciendo fotos a nuestro aire, sin mezclarnos mucho en el ambiente y solo asistiendo a eventos en los que realmente queríamos estar porque nos apetecía como a las fiestas y cenas de FWRD o al desfile de Rochas.

Este día la lluvia nos dio unos minutos de tregua para sacar estas fotos, chispeaba pero poco, eso sí cuando estábamos terminando de hacerlas empezó a llover super intenso y en todas direcciones porque lo que nos empapamos de arriba abajo… por suerte estábamos al lado de L’ Avenue, un restaurante que me encanta de la ciudad, y decidimos secarnos allí mientras disfrutábamos de un risotto con gambas, pescado blanco y miles de patatas fritas. Espero que os gusten los looks, Jules siempre mejor jeje, y las fotos!

Hi babes!! I’ve a lot of pics from the last month still waiting to be posted on the blog and honestly I don’t know yet how I’ll organize them to published as soon as possible and in chronological order… I think I’ll not make it so don’t be scared if in the next week the blog is a little mess mixing pics from different fashion weeks and currents days it’s just I’m a little chaotic and there are always some pics that I feel I wanna share before others :P.

At the moment I start with these ones from Paris, the week of fashion month that I enjoyed the most despite of the accumulated fatigue I had from jumping from one city to another and sleep few hours at day. I was glad the rain welcome us to this pretty city and accompany us for most of the days following because from bad things I believe good things come! We couldn’t take as many street style pics as we liked but was perfect because we had more free time for us which made us put a smile in our face and rest a little bit. Anyway I don’t wanna lie you… I’ve to confess that Diego worked more than me during those days, went to some fashion shoes to try capture under the rain the best outfits and, although I took care of the editing work during the night his work was much harder than mine so deserves a big applause to cover me somedays :). I decided to take advantage and spend the most of the time with my lovely friend Julie, going to nice restaurants, doing some shopping but above all catch up to our lives. Diego also came with us most of the time but above all during the meals time, LOL! 

It was also one of my favorite weeks because I disconnected a little from the world of fashion weeks, I love taking street style photos with Diego and spending time with my friends Aldo, José, Carola, Itziar… see amazing outfits on the streets and get inspired, but sometimes I get overwhelmed by the pretending girls, the repeated introductions of people who don’t know you when they met you the night before, the impossible looks to call the attention and enjoy Paris far away of this with a friend with whom to laugh, taking pics together and only attending events that we really wanted to go as the FWRD dinners and parties.

This day the rain give us a break for some minutes to take these pics but when we were almost finishing started a really intense rain moving in all directions so we get wet from top to bottom :S. Luckily we were near of L’Avenue restaurant so we decided to dry ourselves inside eating a delicious a risotto with prawns, sea bass and thousand of french fries!. I hope you like the looks, Jules always do it better, hehe, and the photos!
