Collage Vintage

A walk through Venice Beach is always a good idea, especially if you do it in the late afternoon to not get too hot and to enjoy the sunset from the beach. We don’t usually go a lot through this area of ​​Los Angeles because we live in the other side of the city and sometimes we are a bit lazy to go until there, mostly because the traffic is usually dense and a 30 minutes journey can be one of  1 hour and a half … But last week we cheered, we took the car and we drive there, our first stop was Abbot Kinney where we looked at some decoration stores in case we found something for our house, we didn’t but we enjoyed a yummy late lunch at Gjelina, a restaurant that I already recommended you several times, their pizzas are delicious!, and from there we went to the boardwalk to enjoy the sunset. A perfect that I hope to repeat very soon with or without traffic :).

I was wearing Ulla Johnson pink pants combined with a basic shirt, white leather sandals and a beaded see-through bag, almost nothing fits inside, phone, credit card and a lipstick… but I loved it and is the perfect bag to match with the simplest outfits! Do you like it?

Un paseo por Venice Beach siempre es buena idea, sobretodo si lo haces a última hora de la tarde para no pasar mucho calor y disfrutar del atardecer desde la playa. Nosotros no solemos ir mucho por esta zona de Los Angeles porque vivimos en la otra punta de la ciudad y a veces nos da un poco de pereza ir hasta allí, mas que nada porque el tráfico suele ser denso y  convierte, la mayoría de las veces, un trayecto de 30 minutos en uno de 1 hora y media… Pero la semana pasada nos animamos, cogimos el coche y para allá que nos fuimos, nuestra primera parada fue Abbot Kinney  donde miramos algunas tiendas de decoración por si encontrábamos algo para nuestra casa, no tuvimos éxito con las compras pero comimos genial en Gjelina, un restaurante que ya os he recomendado muchas veces tanto por aquí como en mi Instagram, ¡sus pizzas están riquísimas!, y terminamos en el paseo marítimo para disfrutar del atardecer. Un día 10 que espero repetir muy pronto con o sin tráfico :)

Llevo pantalones rosas de Ulla Johnson combinados con camiseta básica, sandalias de cuero blanco y bolso de bolitas transparentes, no cabe casi nada dentro, móvil, tarjetas y poco más… pero me pareció ideal para llevar con mis looks mas sencillos.  ¿Os gusta el look?

Hey folks!! How was your weekend? Mine was great, I’ve ordered my messy closet, I couldn’t remember last time, so it needed so much. It sounds strange to say “great” and refer putting order in my closet in the same phrase but when I finish and see everything is organized I feel super happy!

I already showed you this outfit on my Instagram a few days ago but you know that I also love post them on the blog, you can see the clothes better with more details, I can put more pics and give you the direct links to the items I’m wearing. This yellow tulle skirt is another of my latest acquisitions, I think is feminine to wear in casual day-to-day outfits, paired with basic items, flat sandals, sneakers and denim or leather jackets. I could wear it everyday, is beautiful!

We took these pics around Silver Lake, one of my favorite LA districts, we usually spend the weekends there because is full of life, young people, vintage stores, coffee shops and cute restaurants… We have never rented an apartment on this area but I think that next time we will try to settle there, it’s more affordable than other areas of the city and we also have several friends who live in the area and being close to them it’s always a good idea ;).

¡¡Hola chic@s!! ¿Qué tal el fin de semana? El mío genial, he aprovechado sobretodo para ordenar mi caos y hacer limpieza de armario que ya le hacía falta. Suena raro decir “genial” y que me refiera a ordenar con ello pero es que cuando terminas y lo ves todo tan recogido te sientes fenomenal :P.

El look que os enseño hoy también os lo mostré por Instagram hace unos días pero ya sabéis que me gusta publicar también los looks en el blog, seré antigua pero se ven los looks mejor por aquí y además puedo poner más fotos con detalles, dejaros los créditos etc. :P. Esta falda amarilla de tul es otra de mis últimas adquisiciones, la veo super femenina para llevar en looks casual del día a día, combinada con prendas básicas, sandalias planas y cazadora vaquera. La verdad es que me la podría poner todos los días me enamora.

Estas fotos las hicimos por Silver Lake, uno de mis distritos favoritos de Los Angeles, sobre todo solemos pasar allí los fines de semana, está lleno de vida, gente joven, tiendas vintage, cafés y restaurantes con encanto… Nunca hemos alquilado apartamento por esta zona pero creo que la próxima vez intentaremos instalarnos por allí, es más asequible que otras areas de la ciudad y además tenemos varios amigos que viven en la zona y estar cerca de ellos siempre mola más ;).
