SUMMER VIBES

It’s been a long time since I went to Santa Monica and the truth is that I really love this area of Los Angeles, it’s super quiet but at the same time it has an area full of shops and restaurants very lively, its beach is beautiful, its famous pier but one of my favorite spots is  the Palisades park from which you can see the coast, that’s where we took these pictures in the late afternoon at the end of a meeting.

I wear a long printed skirt from Sézane, I don’t know if it’s still available because the truth is that they sell their clothing really fast, but they have it in different colors and the fit it’s great. I think it’s ideal for summer and for this mid-season weather paired with a knit, a denim jacket … this time I combined it with a mustard bandeau and a knitted cardigan that was really helpful at the end of the day because suddenly the day got quite windy. As accessories a brown handbag and beige sandals. Do you like it?

The cutest dress

I must confess that I am addicted to Zara’s website, at least once a week I browse through it to discover its new releases, although I don’t buy anything I like to see it to get inspired because I really love their styling, but of course sometimes it’s difficult to resist the temptation and I end up buying something, especially when I know that it’s something that  I’m going to wear endless times like this red and white dress. I thought it was the perfect one to wear it during Spring season and summer nights, here in California when it gets dark always is chilly and a long sleeve is always necessary, also its cut fits great and  I specially love the detail of the rope belt to mark waist and raise a bit the length of the dress.

During our trip to San Miguel de Allende I wear it on two occasions because I felt very comfortable with it. I didn’t change the look a lot I just decided to combine it with different shoes, the first day with high wedge sandals in brown, and the second with flat espadrilles an option more comfortable to tour the city. In both cases I combined it with a raffia bag with motifs in red and navy blue that has been in my closet for a long time and that I had forgotten a bit and I don’t know why because it’s beautiful. Do you like the look?

Thank you for all your comments and big kiss!!!
