I love Malibu and even though we live in Los Angeles we can not go as often as we would like because it take us more that 1 hour to drive there from home with normal traffic, something that rarely happens in this city hehe, so we took advantage that one of my best friends come to visit me to do a quick getaway there and be able to enjoy their beaches. If you come to visit LA I think is a pretty good idea to spend a couple of nights relaxing in Malibu, the hotels along its coast are a dream, such as Nobu or Surfrider, and you can also take advantage of all its beaches like Zuma Beach , Point Dume, Matador … and encourage yourself to learn a bit of surfing if you feel like doing that!. Also I recommend you to have lunch in Malibu Farm, is my favorite place, it is right on the pier, with beautiful views and yummy and healthy food!

For this first day of our getaway to Malibu, I was wearing a total look from Shop Sincerely Jules, graphic tee and knotted khaki skirt combined with my beloved rope sandals and a raffia backpack, do you like it?

Malibú me encanta y a pesar de que vivimos en Los Angeles no podemos ir tan a menudo como nos gustaría porque nos queda a 1 hora de casa si el tráfico es normal, cosa que rara vez pasa en esta ciudad jeje, así que aprovechamos que nos vino a visitar mi amiga Ester para hacer un mini viaje a esta zona y poder disfrutar de sus playas. Si venís de visita a LA no es mala idea pasar un par de noches de relax en Malibú, los hoteles que hay por su costa son un sueño, como por ejemplo Nobu o Surfrider, y además podéis aprovechar para conocer todas sus playas como Zuma Beach, Point Dume, Matador… y animarse a aprender un poco de surf si os apetece. Como sitio para comer sin duda Malibú Farm es mi favorito, esta justo en el muelle, con unas vistas preciosas, nosotros siempre terminamos comiendo allí.

Para este primer día de nuestra escapada a Malibú llevo un total look de la colección de ropa de mi amiga Julie, camiseta con print y falda khaki anudada combinada con mis sandalias de cuerda estrella de todos los veranos y mochila de rafia, qué os parece?.

Una de las experiencias más típicas y sin duda más divertidas que puedes vivir en Marrakech es visitar su mercadillo, eso sí debes pasear entre los puestos prestando atención en todo momento porque por allí pasan motos, carros y bicis como si fuera una carretera, así que mejor siempre estad alerta ;). Comprar alfombras, babuchas, bolsos de paja, especias, aceites y otros productos típicos  se convierte en toda una experiencia allí gracias a las negociaciones en los precios, a los vendendores les divierte y a nosotros también así que es la forma de comprar perfecta. Nunca aceptes el precio inicial que te digan, siempre tiran por lo alto, así que ofrece más o menos la mitad de lo que te digan y empieza desde ahí la negociación, puedes conseguir cosas preciosas a precios increíbles, pero tampoco seas tacaño y recuerda que las personas que están allí viven de eso. Nosotros disfrutamos como niños negociando, sobre todo mi amiga Kelsey que se llevó a casa medio mercadillo, yo en cambio no compré demasiado, un par de babuchas y un bolso de paja, no tenía demasiado espacio en la maleta y lo que más me apetecía comprar eran alfombras, así que tendré que volver a por ellas con la maleta vacía ;).

Pasamos por el mercadillo más de un día, lo teníamos muy cerquita de nuestro hotel, pero sobretodo para comer en restaurantes como NOMAD, el cual os recomiendo, o para hacer fotos para un pequeño editorial que hice para Revolve y que pronto os enseñaré.

Este día opté por llevar un vestido azul y blanco de Tularosa, una de mis marcas favoritas, me encantó por su corte boho y los detalles de volantes en la manga, perfecto para llevar en verano combinado con unas alpargatas, sandalias de cuerdas o con unas babuchas ;). Espero que os gusten las fotos y como siempre gracias por estar detrás de la pantalla. Muuua!!!

One of the most typical and funniest experiences that you can experience in Marrakech is to visit its “Souk”, you must walk between the stands paying attention because motorcycles and bikes pass by like they were driving in a normal road, so it’s better always be alert;). Buy carpets, slippers, straw bags, spices, oils and other typical products becomes an experience there thanks to the negotiations on prices, the vendors have fun and us too so it is the perfect way to buy. Never accept the initial price they tell you, they always throw up, so you should offer more or less half of what they tell you and from there start your negotiation, you can get precious things at incredible prices, but do not be stingy and remember that the people who are there live on that. We enjoyed as children negotiating, especially my friend Kelsey who took home half market, I did not buy too much, a pair of slippers and a straw bag, I did not have too much space in the suitcase and what I wanted to buy more were rugs, so I’ll have to come back with an empty suitcase;).

We went through the souk more than a day, we had it very close to our hotel, but above all to eat in restaurants like NOMAD, which I recommend, or to take pictures for a small editorial that I did for Revolve and that I will show you very soon.

This day I opted to wear a blue and white dress from Tularosa, one of my favorite brands, I loved it for its boho cut and the details of ruffles on the sleeve, perfect to wear in summer combined with some rope sandals or espadrilles ;).
