Hacía mucho que no subía a Top of the Rock para admirar Nueva York desde arriba y durante este viaje no dudamos en hacerlo, ¡las vistas son increíbles!. Aunque el cielo estaba más gris que nunca, la humedad era bastante alta y pensábamos que nos iba a caer la tormenta del siglo en cualquier segundo, lo cierto es que tuvimos suerte, hasta el día terminó despejándose, y os parecerá raro, pero agradecimos que la mañana estuviera tan gris porque las fotos salen más bonitas cuando está un poco nublado, te evitas sombras, y no pasamos tanto calor.

Son varios los edificios a los que puedes subir a lo más alto en la gran manzana, Freedom Tower, Empire State e incluso terrazas de hoteles como la del Standard en Meatpacking, o como os contaba el otro día, Marmara en Park Avenue, pero las de Top of the Rock siguen siendo mis vistas favoritas. Además de que te evitas una larga cola de espera, como ocurre con el Empire, cuando subes arriba tienes muchísimo espacio, hay menos gente por lo que es posible sacarte una foto sola como las que os enseño hoy y desde allí ves el Empire o Central Park, aunque ahora mismo la vista de esta zona no es super bonita porque justo delante está lleno de obras y gruas :S. Yo sin duda os recomiendo que subáis a este edificio en vez de a los otros, aunque se que subir al Empire es casi un obligatorio, si lo hacéis intentad comprar tickets vip, para evitar la larga cola, o subir por la noche cuando hay menos gente, porque las vistas de la ciudad de noche con todas las infinitas luces de los edificios también es increíble.

Para este día estrené uno de los vestidos que Revolve me dejó en mi armario de Los Hamptons, !es super mono!. De cuadritos azules, abotonado como si fuera una camisa, hombros al descubierto y maxi cinturón a juego para ajustar la cintura, fue el modelo perfecto para acompañarme ese día por la ciudad combinado con uno de mis sombreros favoritos de Lack of Color y las sandalias de cuerda sin las que últimamente no puedo vivir, son demasiado cómodas.

I had not been able to go to Top of the Rock for a long time ago to admire New York from above and during this trip we didn’t hesitate to do it, the views are breathtaking!. Although the sky was grayer than ever, the humidity was quite high and we thought that the storm of the century was going to fall in any second, the truth is that we were lucky, the day ended up clearing up, and you will think we are weird people, but we were happy with the grey sky because the photos look prettier when it is a little cloudy, you avoid shadows!

There are several buildings in the city where you can have an amazing view as Freedom Tower, Empire State or even hotel terraces like the Standard in Meatpacking, or as I told you the other day, Marmara on Park Avenue, but Top of The Rock are still my favorite sights. In addition to avoiding a long waiting line, as normally happens with the Empire building, you have a lot of space to enjoy the view from different areas and highs, there are fewer people so it is possible to take a photo alone with the beautiful landscape like the ones I show you today, and from there you can see the Empire or Central Park, although right now the view of this area is not super pretty because right in front is full of works and cranes: S. I would definitely recommend you to go up to this building instead of the others, although I know that go to the Empire is a must, if you do try to buy vip tickets, to avoid the long line, or go up at night when isn’t crowded and get the night views with all the infinite lights, is also amazing.

For this day I released one of the dresses that Revolve left me in my closet of The Hamptons, it’s super cute !. In blue squares, buttoned as if it were a shirt, off the shoulders and maxi belt in the same fabric was the perfect model to accompany me that day in the city combined with one of my favorite Lack of Color’s hats and the rope sandals that I love so much because are the most comfortable shoes ever!
